Old Delhi is known for its finger licking street food and amazing architecture. Old Delhi is the perfect example of Mughal architecture. While taking a stroll through the lanes of old Delhi you realize that every wall has a story to tell.
The nearest metro station is Chandni chowk, we started our journey by taking off at the Chandni chowk metro station. You will see these small lanes with vendors selling their stuff. Chandni chowk is also famous for its cloth market They have amazing range of wedding dresses.
OLD FAMOUS JALEBI WALA
Entering the market, the first thing that you will see will be this small shop that was established in 1884 known as old famous jalebi wale. Their amazing jalebis and samosa are the perfect way to start your food journey.

DAULAT KI CHAT
Throughout your street food tour, you will see these small vendors selling this dish called “Daulat Ki Chat”. It is quite famous in old Delhi, so I had to try them. I bought a plate for 50 bucks but did not like the taste of it whereas my friends were enjoying it. Daulat Ki Chat is a milk-based dessert that is available only in winters.

GOLE HATTI
One of my friends suggested this place and thank god we listened. Golle hatti has some amazing cholle bhature and palak cholle chawal. After a long walk, we had our dinner at gole hatti. They have seating arrangements as well. The taste was amazing.

GIANI’S DI HATTI
No food walk to Old Delhi is complete without the delicious rabri faluda from Giani’s di hatti. I am such a big fan of this rabri faluda and the price is also quite affordable. The taste is worth every penny.
